Although never intending to become an author or children’s IP creator, Adam Reed has always been a storyteller.  For the past 15 years he has been at the helm of Los Angeles & Nashville-based Emmy nominated production company, Thinkfactory Media, one of the most prolific production companies in the business. He has created and produced over 1000 hours of television—including such notable series as Gene Simmons Family Jewels (A&E), the Marriage Boot Camp franchise (WeTV – 16 seasons), Hatfields & McCoys starring Kevin Costner & Bill Paxton (History), Rat In The Kitchen (TBS), Mama June (WeTV – 6 seasons), amongst many other hits. Adam is also an accomplished commercial director, having been shortlisted at the Cannes International Advertising Festival.

Although his role running Thinkfactory has been an important one, his most important role is being a father.  In 2016, when his daughter turned one, Adam went in search of a holiday tradition to start with his young family. As he searched, he was struck by the lack of holiday tradition brands with a positive core message that also didn’t stress out parents in the process.

With that, he struck out to create a fresh new Christmas tradition not only for his family, but for families all over the world. In doing so he vowed to create a magical story that transcends time and also celebrates the uniqueness of every child. Thus, REINDEER IN HERE® was born.  As he conceived the main reindeer character he specifically designed it with one antler smaller than the other —to symbolize and celebrate the differences and uniqueness of each individual child and reinforce that BEING DIFFERENT IS NORMAL.™
